alright everyone, here's the thing

it's time for things to get serious and I'm sorry to say most of you probably aren't going to like it. I took last year completely for myself. I graduated, moved across the globe, helped take care of things for a little while, then was supposed to get a job and go to college. did I? no. I decided that my art and my writing was more important to me. I practiced drawing as much as I could and (I think) improved significantly. I also put a huge dent in Masked Impact, the trilogy I'm writing

and now here I am with nearly nothing to show for it

my electricity is going to be shut off, my internet was already cut so I have been stealing it from my neighbors, and given a few more months I will literally be a "starving artist" as I won't be able to feed myself

but my art and my writing are the most important things in the world to me

so here we are. I need money you guys. it's not a matter of play anymore. I found a place in minnesota where I can move (love ya jen) where there is a school nearby where I can begin taking classes. to get there though, I need to step it up

what I'm trying to say is, while I'm not leaving dA, I am discontinuing puppet works and any art projects I've promised you guys until further notice. instead, I will be spending my time and energy looking for clients to purchase my art or other ways to make money without having to sell my soul to burger king

-I'll do nearly anything, just keep in mind I am not very good at realism unless it's a CG character of some kind ><; (if that counts as realism? I still don't know)
-I only accept paypal

I understand this may be a problem for some of you who are too young to have a paypal account but I'm sorry. if my electricity goes away you probably won't ever see anything from me at all

if you personally can't buy anything or don't want to please spread the word. if you know anyone who might be interested it would be a huge help to me

also, if you know anyone who is looking for an artist for anything where I might be of service please tell both them and me. ie: someone who has written a comic and needs an artist to draw it, someone who needs a logo for something, someone who wants a cover for a book they're writing... anything

nervous about giving my impulsive-ass money? don't be. every penny you guys spend helping me out, every cent earned, is going into a savings account seperate from my checking account where it will be safe. nothing you spend will be used on luxury items. not one dollar on a video game, movie ticket, electronic device, etc. it's all going toward bills, moving, and school. you have my word. I'd sign in blood but I really don't want to have to pay for a new laptop if my screen gets ruined and/or stiches if I get carried away

I will accept any suggestions or help you can give me on this matter

most important thing: spread the word! even if you buy something, someone you know might also want some of my delicious fresh baked art

I will also have some items for sale soon, games, books, etc. just as soon as I can be sure I can get to the post office to ship them within a reasonable amount of time
